A Study on Good Goveance: Its Elements, Models and Purposes

Abstract

Good goveanceis considered as one of necessary prerequisites for promotion of sustainabledevelopment programs in countries. Theoretical model of good goveance isgoing to form the best methods for administration and management of subjectcountry. The importance of maintaining balance between needs of present andfuture generation through sustainable development caused a change in method ofmanagement and providing service for citizens that is addressed as the mostefficient and effective way of administration of countries. This method isbased on democratic and equal-seeking sustainable development which is tryingto affect all actors in this area and also be accountable to all citizens’needs. Meanwhile, it should be noted that good goveance is a prerequisite forsustainable development. In fact, good goveance means impact of all actors onadministration and management of the country for fulfilling public services,general needs of citizens and establishing a balance and harmony between needsof present and future generation. In the present study, efforts have been madeto present concepts, definitions, purposes and indices of good goveance witha descriptive-analytical method.
